An interesting study about how in person exercise programs may be better for the mental health of cardiac patients versus home based exercise programs especially as many working patients do home based exercise programs for convenience and time.

Individuals with coronary artery disease have poorer mental health, health-related quality of life (HR-QoL), and cognition compared with (age-matched) controls. Exercise training may attenuate these effects. This study found exercise training, especially in-person sessions, was associated with improved HR-QoL, depression and anxiety, independently of exercise type. However, this study raises concern about the effectiveness of home-based programmes in improving these outcomes.

Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi tried to dismantle Obamacare when she was the Florida Attorney General 🇺🇸. While she failed, 49 million Americans in Republican and Democrat states are currently insured by Obamacare. How do we know she won’t try to dismantle Obamacare again if she is the next United States AG? Call your Senators at (202) 224-3121 to ask them to find out. 1/3 Senators are up for reelection next year and surely they would like to hear from American voters

Peter Thiel-Curtis Yarvin: The Neoreactionary Dream Team. Neoreactionism calls for the fall of democracies and a return to monarchy and aristocracy. Shockingly, neoreactionaries believe that new aristocracy should come from tech and business. Peter Thiel is also well known for being Mark Zuckerberg’s mentor 🇺🇸

Interesting question for y’all

If Meta has spent billions on:

1. Buying its competitors (Instagram and WhatsApp)

2. Hypothetically banning its competitors (TikTok)

3. and Meta can’t buy or ban Nostr, what do y’all think they’re doing to incapacitate Nostr?

Today is my 2 year Nostr anniversary 🎉🎉🎉

Are Meta’s claims to support freedom of speech all lies to make themselves more money? Chinese TikTok alternative RedNote is the #1 app downloaded ahead of potential TikTok ban. American TikTokers have said they are deleting their Facebook and Instagram accounts in protest and will be using alternative social media apps to send a message to the U.S. government, as well as the social media company Meta. Meta allegedly lobbied Congress to have TikTok banned in 2022 and 2024.

Will Hegseth order the American military to shoot American citizens practicing their First Amendment rights? As part of Hirono's questioning, Hegseth did not directly answer whether he'd approve or not approve the military shooting Americans practicing freedom of speech, in reference to the suggestion former defense secretary Mark Esper said he was given in 2020 which he did not follow. 🇺🇸 If you have concerns you can contact your Senators at 202-224-3121. As 1/3 of Senators are up for reelection next year they would surely be interested in the thoughts of American voters.

“We’re going to have a little bit of a train wreck next week of confirmation hearings,” Republican Sen. John Cornyn, told reporters last week. For example, Pete Hegseth has been battling allegations of sexual assault, excessive drinking and mismanaging the finances of a nonprofit veterans group. Along with Hegseth, several other picks have faced skepticism from both Senate Republicans and Democrats, including Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
