Hibiscus appears to love the desert. I grow this for the flowers which we brew into one of the healthiest drinks in Mexico as long as you don't sweeten with sugar.😉

Haven't been driving the old Touareg for a few months. Had some transmission issues couple years back and it never was quite the same.
Just ran it hard all over the ranch and it's still one of my favorite 4x4's and I've owned n used a lot...
Thinking of removing doors, hatchback, seats, compressor and all excess weight. Then cutoff 1/4 or rear roof, add roll n light bar and off road seats, beef suspension up some fat tires and I'll have a Honey Bader of an off road buggy. Automatic with paddle shifter similar to my Honda Talon

Palm from Washingtonian (Mexican) Palms trees.
My palapero, one who makes palapas, is really fast and he prefers structures many stories high and runs around on the structures as he builds them.
Here's about a year of great fire starter, cutoff from the palm fronds....just about out of the scrap from the pleb kitchen build 2 years ago. An almost zero waste ranch which is my goal.
