I have seen mostly mobile apps recommended for nostr, but I want to use it only on my laptop. Are there any nostr apps for PCs? I am using the site primal.net right now, but everything looks very chaotic.

I can also help people check their #nostr address is working (if they have one). Nostr addresses are not mandatory, but some people like using them to add a personal touch to their profile. I am using primal.net and must admit that I am totally lost. threads don't seem to be permanent or something.
