Anon nomadic monastic self-sovereign. Notes to self.

Sometimes when people talk of generational wealth, I’m reminded of Walter White from breaking bad, who is in the empire business.

In no hurry. There is nowhere to go. I’m already here.

There’s a game I sometimes like to play, called no-self.

1. When walking fast, in the self. When walking slow, in calm energy.

2. Seclude, as there is constant confirmation of illusion between individuals, heightening anxieties.

3. Sleep on the ground so the self does not feel comfortable in the body, such that it mistakes it for home ownership.

There’s a game i sometimes like to play, called check-mate.

1. Neither in distractions, nor seeking.

2. Neither in the past, nor future.

3. Neither in friends, nor the self.

4. There is no place to rest.

5. Check-mate.

1. I was sleeping on a bed, then I moved to a carpet, and now I sleep on a rattan mat on the floor.

2. The journey to de-construct the self continues.

3. No reason, but a good way to pass the time.

Bitcoin is pure anarchy within a set of immutable rules.

The thing I find difficult, is to not look at the phone while eating alone at restaurant.

But it can be done, one lunch at a time.

Mount Athos is a close a Citadel as I can see. It’s a self-governed territory run by a monastic community.

Not for the average Joe though, only males allowed!

I’m learning to worship uncertainty, too bad there’s no disorganised religion, that’s why I embrace decentralised cash.

1. On one hand, States will do everything to attract and get people to spend, on the other, it will end their freedom.

2. People in their desire, will get reeled in to the idea of a ‘playground’ island to live and work.

3. People in their fear, will give up their freedoms to institutions.

4. The solution then, my friend, is to change the game.

5. Give up desires and face internal fears as a lifestyle.

6. Start small, give up distractions like Netflix, so when anxious there is no external escape.

If you go all in with Bitcoin, then you have already planted your first flag by separating your assets from the jurisdiction of your business income or citizenship.

There are resources online that go into more details.

But my recommendation is to meet people irl who are living this way without bank accounts, etc.

1. I’m certain we all have enough time to walk the path of inner peace and cultivate insight.

2. A freedom that cuts deeper than 5 flags theory and Bitcoin’s counter weight to state control.

3. But not nearly enough time if we dilly dally with indolence.

1. In the book, Mandibles, long term sleep as a service is offered as a way out of the high living costs brought on by inflation.

2. In prison, some say, every hour of additional sleep, is an hour taken off their sentence.

3. However, given any situation, as long as we choose to accept it, maybe even want it once we’re in it, there’s no need for escape.

I choose not to go vegan, but to eat silently without distractions, out of respect for the chicken or cow or goat, which likely suffered with anxiety as it understood its time was over.

Hence I eat for sustenance, not for taste.

I try to eat only once a day, nowadays.

One of the most courageous things we can do is to stay still and present to the onslaught of thoughts that breed fear and anxiety.

And to silently and confidently, say back, “I’m still here”.

When asked what is the central part to his training, Muhammad Ali replied, ‘it’s dodging the girls and being in bed alone by 9pm’.

Unfortunately, many of us won’t recognise the value of that statement until experience makes it evident. https://youtube.com/shorts/GYnb3Op_H-Y?feature=share

1. What if something goes wrong, well, what if it doesn’t.

2. Don’t make plans.

3. Own little, meet few people.

4. Learn to sleep on hard surfaces.

5. Be aware of the breath.

6. Adapt to un-expected events.

7. Let go.

The options are:

1. Do not build anything.

2. Build something and let it go.

3. Build something and defend it.

What do you choose.
