He isn't completely wrong, but they way he pushed that specific use case tells me he still doesn't get the true value proposition of Bitcoin
My hopes with CBDCs/PCDCs (yes, I just made that one up to refer to private company digital currency) are: the more the push it, the more people will be forced to bartering in the black market, the more the state gets drained out of revenue and degrades. Too optimistic, I know, but one needs to cope with the sheepish obedience of the masses somehow.

This is the we problem we will have with CBDCs. The issuer of the shitcoin will be able to rug you if you use it for suspicious activities, got it illegitimately, don't give it its intended purpose, are too ugly, or whatever

Hear shouldn't be much of a problem for me but light definitely is. The plan is to set some led lights with a timer to get 12/12 cycles until they start flowering, then change to 14/10 cycles

I doubled the potato harvest from yesterday with what my 3-year-old and I dug this afternoon. I still have around 2/3 to harvest. Hopefully I can keep them from going all to eyes by midwinter.

Depleted the SPR to do damage control on inflation. Now the prices are past their target price to replenish and will continue to rise towards the ~100 $/barrel target of the OPEC. All while the treasury keeps the money printer going brrrr. That'll mean inflation goes up as prices rise, only this time they can't pull the same trick because they don't have the reserves.
Almost like treating the symptoms doesn't cure the illness
