So if you want to get off and running fast, I have a guide to running startos in proxmox which will give you the benefit of the onion and local addresses and being able to get the btc node off and running. I can also send you a link to a site which helps you get a bunch of other containers running easily, like 1 command for next cloud and gitea, etc.
You can also very easily spin up a vm with Ubuntu or Debian to run your node on. The benefit is memory abstraction so if you add ram or disk space it's easy to expand.
I'm currently working on a dummy proof script/documentation to go from home node to full cloud bitcoin super node with minimal inputs while preserving customizable stuff, but the farm chores take precedent in the summer.
