Those who would trade liberty for security deserve neither.

There are three main players that make up about 70% of world GDP: the #US, the #EU and #China. By all appearances, the EU is regressing and at the moment it seems that we are forever behind, but I will elaborate later on why this may not be true.

Let's first analyze what makes the market successful and why America is progressing so much ahead of everyone else even though it is numerically the smallest of all three markets:

1. Monetary Union: the euro has only been around for about 20 years

2. Banking Union: sending money between EU countries is still expensive and slow.

3. Language Union: #America and China have solved this, the EU has not

4. Logistics Union: America has had Fedex, USPS for a long time, Europe is only now slowly solving it.

5. Customs Union: The EU solved this in full only in the 90s, that is, 25-30 years ago.

6. Movement of labor and capital: although legally solved, it has not taken off well in practice.

When we put it this way, we see that the EU has solved most of its problems, but people need to get used to the new things, except for one thing - language.

And language is a problem that has never been solved before with new LLM (AI) tools, we just need to implement them. What I see is an extremely low use of AI tools in companies in most EU countries, and it is precisely the EU that could benefit the most from this and use AI as a fuel to catch up with America and China.

All of us who are employed somewhere should start from ourselves and make our company more successful, and we can do this today using AI tools to the maximum extent. It would be interesting to know how many entrepreneurs managed to reduce the number of employees because they implemented some AI tool in their company.

A recent poll in Germany found that most Germans would probably not fight to defend their country, with two-fifths of respondents saying they would not fight "under any circumstances". The most interesting is the division according to political affiliation. Only 9% of supporters of the Green Party - which is the most ardent supporter of the war in Ukraine - said they would take up arms to defend Germany, the lowest percentage of any political group. The Greens, led by Foreign Affairs Minister Annalena Baerbock, are strongly aligned with US foreign policy, particularly regarding the Ukraine conflict. It wasn't always like that, moreover, the Greens were once a prominent anti-war party, but under the new leadership there was a dramatic turnaround.

On the other hand, the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), a right-wing party that currently has 20% support, has the highest percentage of individuals ready to defend their country. In a recent poll, 28% of #AfD supporters said they would defend #Germany "with a gun in hand" if attacked.

This divide highlights a broader ideological divide in Europe: those who support military intervention abroad, like the "war party", vs. those who advocate for national sovereignty and defense. The "War Party", where the Green leadership is at the forefront, is often more oriented towards international institutions such as #NATO, and focuses their careers in areas such as consulting and international affairs, rather than on the country's defense. On the other hand, the AfD represents a nationalist stance, with supporters willing to fight for their country, but not necessarily for further international conflicts like the war in #Ukraine. This is a key difference that the data confirms.

European liberals have been hit by the populist wave that started last year with the surprise election victory of Geert Wilders in the #Netherlands. This wave continued through the September national elections in Germany, local elections in the Czech Republic, the first place of the Freedom Party in #Austria and the collapse of the French government. But, despite this, it seems that liberals on the continent will fight "to the last Ukrainian" in order to preserve their political privileges.

If this war fails, European liberals know that they will figuratively lose their positions. They have no plan except to make the #war last as long as possible.

As usual, the media misinforms the public by misrepresenting and interpreting Trump's statements, so that it turns out that he is some kind of imperialist who would conquer other people's territories.

The Panama Canal was built by the Americans and handed over to Panama by agreement. According to the agreement, American ships were supposed to have the right of way and pay a lower fee. Panama forgot about it after several decades. Trump reminds them that they will have to stick to the agreement.

In addition, the Panama Canal is one of the three most important channels for the passage of trade ships, and it would be extremely important in the event of a major international conflict, e.g. with China. Journalists would obviously rather it fall into the hands of China than our ally the USA, which built it.

Greenland is important because of the source of raw materials, scientific research and because of its military position. Denmark (which owns it) itself admits that it will not be able to maintain military bases in Greenland without the USA. Selling Greenland to the US, apart from hurting the feelings of journalists, would harm absolutely no one - considering that Greenland is more of a burden than a benefit to the Danes. I don't see why it would be such a scandal.

Whoever came up with the idea that Germany, knowing its history well, should let millions of Muslims from the Middle East into it, must be an extremely corrupt and evil person. Who knows how it will end, but one thing is certain - it will not end well.

Unfortunately, true.

According to polls, the Germans most want Chancellor Alice Weidel, the candidate of the #AfD. The media say it is a neo-Nazi party.

Weidel is married to an immigrant from Sri Lanka with whom she is raising two children in Switzerland, where they moved because of lower taxes. A true icon of Nazism and the far right, lol.

Sometimes in the vastness of the internet I get lost in some groups where Germans and Poles argue about whose Wroclaw and Gdansk are and whose they should be... It's not Wroclaw and Gdansk, but Breslau and Danzig, yikes. The Poles, on the other hand, claim that it's theirs, even though Stalin personally gave it to them, while at the same time moaning about how Stalin and the Russians took Lviv from them, while moaning again... You know the rest.

I watch and I can't believe it, today in 2024, some German is getting into a fight with the Poles over Wroclaw, and half of #Germany has been occupied by the Taliban, and in 20 years, #Muhammad will be their chancellor and they will introduce #Sharia! Jesus!

The man who, while a prominent member of the European Commission, threatened Musk with a fine on behalf of the EU for his interview with Trump on X and attempted to interfere in the US election, is now calling on the European Commission to fine Musk for interfering in the German election. 🙂

Incidentally, this man is responsible for the regulation of artificial intelligence that prevents Apple users in the EU from having many of the iPhone features that Americans have. More importantly, this regulation effectively prevented the production of #AI tools in #Europe because such tools need to be trained, and European #regulation does not allow this.

#EU #bureaucrats are the stupidest people in the world. If someone gave you the task of gathering a group of the 10 stupidest people you know around you, that group would be more intelligent than the team sitting in #Brussels and regulating the ways in which we live and work for a salary of more than €5,000.

Total negative selection, which is understandable for two reasons: first, no capable man would accept such a harmful and stupid job, so only the #incompetent remain. And second, these are people who are not elected but appointed; their main #virtue is #obedience. That's how we get #idiots like this.

Driving home for Christmas

The European Union is becoming a fund of good jokes

European countries spend more on defense, but they have to buy modern weapons and equipment from the USA because the European Commission introduced regulations that prevent more serious production of modern weapons in Europe due to... wait for it - climate change 😁

Mental problems of children and young people escalated during the pandemic due to 'measures', school closures, masks and intimidation. This is not my position, but the consensus.

Additionally, pandemic marketing targeted parents through children - who were supposed to be squeezed into the regular vaccination program, even from the highest institutions.

Many advocates of brutal totalitarian measures did not believe in them (they mostly violated all pandemic measures) but rather used the topic as a good way to express psychopathy - anything to justify violence against others, especially if it seemed socially permissible to them, typical behavior caused by envy. Just as the label 'anti-vaxxer' was just a tool to bash others because only fools thought it made sense when vaccinated people were also transmitting it (the essence of the label is to 'not think about others'), and as we know, even the most violent of these people did not get beyond 2-3 doses and stopped wearing masks as soon as they were allowed to, even though the virus was still 'killing' en masse.

The large manifestation of psychopathy and sociopathy during the pandemic had a significant negative impact on adults and children, especially the more unstable ones.

Our task now is to face it and try to correct the severe consequences of this long-term and strong manifestation of individual and institutional psychopathy.

The German Minister of the Internal Affairs says that "it was clear that he was Islamophobic" for the Saudi, the terrorist from Magdeburg. Everything is of course possible, maybe he is just a notorious madman, but I would say that actions speak louder than words. Especially in a person with a medical degree who possesses intelligence and the ability to mimic.

I'm not Sherlock Holmes, but in looking for the killer's motives, I would consider the mass trampling of people at the Christmas market more important than his social media posts.

And then we are surprised that citizens do not trust institutions and that right and left extremism is growing.

In Germany, a new CDU-SPD government that would continue Angela Merkel's agenda has been ready for a long time. The media there are 100% on top of that and act as if there is a competition between Scholz and Merz for the position of the new chancellor when it is known that Merz will be chancellor and Scholz a minister in the joint government.

Musk figured it out, so he decided to disrupt their plans a little. It will be great to see if, after the USA, he makes a disruption in Germany as well.

It's too funny to watch desperate German journalists on X asking their government to punish Musk for publicly supporting the AfD. They are so used to their government or the European Commission punishing ineligible foreigners and foreign companies that they think it is normal.

How disappointed they will be when they realize that time is over. Europe can no longer do anything to American companies because it needs the help of the USA and especially needs good relations with Trump. X is not TikTok, Trump is not Xi. 🙂

Trump put the Canadian government in order, he will put Europe in order as well. It's just sad that the Canadians and Europeans didn't do it themselves.

We should tax the rich more
