Merry Christmas π

Morning

These three things need to be preserved from internal and external enemies (with or without the European Union):
- free speech
- private property
- our own culture
It is not useful to be a defeatist and give up on the values ββthat have shaped us in advance.
We need wiser leaders, who are imbued with these values, and I do not see them.
The current leaders do not value freedom, nor the right to property, nor European cultures.
Those who would like to come to power value only European cultures, and despise the #freedom and property of citizens, and love their own.
They are all some kind of social engineers, who want to shape us according to their narrow-minded fantasies, among which the planned #economy and the restriction of personal freedoms play the biggest role.
We should give up on such leaders, not on values.
If enough people know what is good for them, the leaders will show up to implement such policies.
I do not believe in the downfall of #Europe and I think that such talk is shooting itself in the knee. It is not at all clear what those who repeat this mean - the collapse of the #EU or the collapse of European states?
We have nowhere to go, we are from here and it depends on us how things will be for us here - it seems that many Europeans do not understand this, somehow disinterested, discouraged and reactive, instead of active.
Because apparently most do not know how we became one of the best places to live in the world - I blame schools and universities for that - but it is what it is - everyone can and must find out for themselves.

#Germany closing Christmas markets because the security is "too expensive" while spending 30 billion euros on the illegals who are the security threat pretty much sums up Western Europe

Decline: German industrial production down to the level of 2005
It's not that bad if your primary goal is to destroy your own country.

The journey isnβt easy, but itβs worth it.
Every mistake has been a teacher, every small win a motivation.
Iβve come to appreciate that success is not just about the end goal, but who you become in the process.

Did the same thing for my nephew
How did we get to the point where we have a country full of people who are convinced that they are doing a good deed when they ask the state to fund Palestine, maternity leave, the poor, the homeless, private startups, ideological and political activists, hungry children in Africa, etc.?
People have delegated their responsibility - caring for their loved ones - to the state. In this way, they have deprived themselves of that special pleasure, which is when you help someone in need. Everyone has probably done a favor in their life to a completely unknown person, helped that person a lot, and did not ask for any return favor or compensation. Then you know very well what it feels like, such things make the giver happy.
Europeans have delegated all of this to the state. Now we have a state that takes so much from us that we do not have much room for voluntary help, neither in time nor in money. But if we had a state that took less and dealt exclusively with the tasks for which it was founded, people would have much more and could help those they believe are in need. You would choose which humanitarian organization you want to donate to because it has convinced you that it does good deeds; which ideological activists you will support because they stand for ideals and values ββthat are close to your heart; which children in the world deserve your help and which terrorist organizations do not.
There would be much less injustice and people would be much happier. The state is not the solution, it is the problem.

Slow down.
Calm down.
Don't worry.
Don't hurry.
Trust the process.
Trust yourself.

Well said. I am also contemplating how to get out of the taxation theft. Fuck them and starve them!

I feel like when Judas betrayed Jesus.
Today was the first time I told someone that they were right and that #Bitcoin is a scam.
I think I've reached a point where I don't feel like explaining anything to anyone.

The price of peace = $100 billion
Yesterday's peace talks didn't just reveal a number. They revealed the truth. And the truth is bitter: the bill will be paid by the EU, not the USA.
Why? Because Washington is sitting on an unsustainable debt plan. The US public debt is around 120-125% of GDP, and the budget deficit for 2025 is estimated at $1.9 trillion (β6.2% of GDP). Interest on the debt alone became the third largest item of government spending last year β bigger than education, infrastructure, and almost everything else.
What did we actually learn yesterday?
- Ukraine will get US weapons.
- The EU will pay for it.
- NATO's defense spending target is rising from 2% to 5% of GDP.
Translation: Europe is helping the US refinance its debt.
The uncomfortable question is: is this the result of strategy β or incompetence?
A. If it is intentional: boosting selected industries without adequate economic returns is a failure of oversight. You only go into debt if the rate of return is higher than the interest. Basic Economics 101. Where did those billiards end up? A question for auditors β or the FBI.
B. If it is ignorance: then the wrong "experts" were chosen. And again, responsibility is needed.
Meanwhile, Ukraine has been reduced to a pawn in the profit game. The fight for freedom and democracy is turning into a "cash grab2" for the benefit of a few industries and interest groups.
And this is where a PR disaster occurs:
- Democracy should rest on values.
- We show that democracy rests on profit.
- If inflation eats away at our assets, deflation of value will eat away at our societies.
We have to ask ourselves:
Are we any better than Russia, North Korea or China if we let greed be our compass?
What kind of world do we leave to our children when "peace" gets a price instead of principles?
Peace should not be sold.
Because if peace is sold β the next in line is freedom.

Motivation is such a worn-out term these days. And everyone is looking for an answer, how to motivate yourself for anything:
motivate yourself for a healthier life, a better job, a better relationship...
And the answer is very simple:
Obviously we don't want it badly enough.
We're not hungry enough.
We're not in bad enough health.
We're not unhappy enough in our relationship.
We're afraid of an uncertain future if we decide to make changes.
The lack of a clear goal, proper leadership and a work plan are topics in themselves.
And fear, laziness and inertia are the biggest reasons why most people waste the gift we were given at birth.
And no matter how much we complain, we feel good in that comfort zone. And apparently everything is not as bad as we say.
Because if we were really bad, we would probably get moving, right?
Or do we love and appreciate ourselves so little? Maybe for some reason we like to suffer? Do we think we don't deserve to be happy?
Think carefully about these words, but I believe that the answer, if you are honest with yourself, you already know very well.
The problem is that, apparently, we have not yet reached the bottom.
Because it is precisely this bottom that is the greatest motivator, of course, for those who do not give up.
Because from there we can only go up...
