Human Adaptability and Innovation
Of all living things, humans are not the fastest, the biggest, or the strongest, yet they are at the top of the hierarchy. How is that possible?
By being the most inventive. We are capable of designing, building, and using various tools. This is one of the best quotes from Steve Jobs in this regard:
“I think one of the things that really separates us from the high primates is that we’re tool builders. I read a study that measured the efficiency of locomotion for various species on the planet. The condor used the least energy to move a kilometer. And, humans came in with a rather unimpressive showing, about a third of the way down the list. It was not too proud a showing for the crown of creation. So, that didn’t look so good. But, then somebody at Scientific American had the insight to test the efficiency of locomotion for a man on a bicycle. And, a man on a bicycle, a human on a bicycle, blew the condor away, completely off the top of the charts. And that's what a computer is to me. What a computer is to me is it's the most remarkable tool that we've ever come up with, and it's the equivalent of a bicycle for our minds."
Justin Trudeau was not doomed by being a corona-monger and a tyrant. The vast majority of Canadians supported all the Covid measures he introduced. He was doomed by his terribly irresponsible fiscal policy. Canada printed 34% of new money in the period 2020 - 2023, which created the highest inflation since 1979. At that time, and this is actually very significant, his father was the prime minister.
Justin's father Pierre was a socialist who joined the Liberal Party only because he realized that his first party, the left-wing NDP, was too weak and that he would never come to power in it. He joined the Liberals and, thanks to his own charisma, completely reformed the party. He implemented some good reforms - made divorce easier, made women equal, legalized abortion, etc. - but he also imposed a very bad fiscal policy of excessive government spending, which caused inflation and a crisis that forced him to resign. But he soon returned to power. He is also known for the fact that during the Cold War, unlike other Western leaders, he cultivated good relations with the USSR, Cuba and China. He was the head of Canada for 15 years, which I think is a record.
Pierre Trudeau made the Liberal Party of Canada quite socialist. Justin picked up more or less the same policies and direction from his father.
Canadians don't forgive inflation and it cost him his job.

Good night

A nation that despises entrepreneurship and curses its members (who do not wait for someone to give them an opportunity, but rather create new opportunities), cannot expect prosperity in the future.
And so if he achieves this, and it looks like he will, Musk has put all the mobile operators out of business in one fell swoop because he is the owner of the satellite infrastructure in its entirety. (They will not fare badly, it was the biggest theft on the head of the consumer, ever. Not to mention their antenas everywhere that are sure to cause cancerous diseases.)
Just as Apple released records, discs, turntables, walkmans, and almost cameras, for example.

Amen
There is a common belief among people that if someone understands economics better, then they will get rich better or more easily. These two have little to do with each other. Understanding economics can help people understand WHY certain phenomena occur, such as inflation, unemployment, how corporations function, and how small businesses function. It will help you vote smarter, not to vote for populists who promise a lot of money and a government solution for everything - you will know that they are lying. If a larger share of the population had a better understanding of economics, we would have a more orderly and wealthy country. But understanding economics will not necessarily help you get rich personally.
Just my two cents or two satoshis (soon to be)
Good night

If you make just one resolution this year, let it be to respect yourself and your body more, what you put into it, and how you treat it.

I see stupid people and they don't even know they are stupid 😁
