My buddy couldn’t delete his Facebook and all traces of his account after many attempts. He told me he started to break rules like posting stuff that basically forced Facebook to kill his account.

I like it but I don’t use it as often as I should.

Example: YouTuber MKBHD has asked for the twitter edit button for as long as I can remember. He has a big following and minor errors in his tweets can’t be fixed. Luckily, he can delete and repost. NOSTR forces people to live with their embarrassing grammatical errors, punctuation, or maybe badly worded opinions or embarrassing old posts that are not relevant. Maybe nothing can be deleted from the internet but having an always live version of past mistakes is not the most desirable.

I saw this a lot in the Navy. Made a tough life a lot tougher for those guys.

So terrible. I love cash app and loved that square dongle. Even as a kid, I thought it was crazy I couldn’t easily send money or accept credit cards (e.g., yard sale).

I didn’t know this man but it’s really sad that people minding their own business can just get stabbed.
