Another thing I have observed is that people get all upset about stuff they don’t like and try to slam it and report it and mute it for no reason till it goes away.

You know who else takes this approach? Big tech and centralized platforms. We don’t need to try to scrub Nostr clean of stuff we don’t like, it won’t happen. We need to build stuff that we do like and promote that.

And if you like a project, support it with a shoutout or zap for the dev.

A lot of you need to buzz off and relax about calling things scams and shooting down peoples creations the minute they come out.

I have seen quite a bit of hate towards my fren’s creation buzzbot and so many other projects from other developers too.

If you don’t like something someone makes that’s fine but we don’t all need to team up and slam people for building on Nostr.

Most the complaints are from people who have never built anything or contributed to Nostr too, just saying.

You could always relocate to a jurisdiction where living costs are not so expensive & home school the kids? This would enable you to keep more of your stack before making such a large purchase & unwanted selling of corn just to own a home.

I've loved the idea of a Bitcoin-backed-mortgage, without liquidation risk, that I have seen CJ Konstantinos talking about, but the product isn't live yet, and who knows when it will be (especially for the Australian market)

The removal of SAB 121 in the US should mean that there is a big shift from Banks to custody of Bitcoin, and then debt products, but that will certainly come with counter-party risk
