Got a big assignment on post-conflict peace building in situations where some of the state has been under the sway of rebel (insurgent/warlord) governance due tomorrow. I haven't started writing it yet, still doing my research 😕. I can't complain, I know, I'm the doofus who left it this late. 🤷🏽♀️ For some inexplicable reason, I often do my best work the day before. That doesn't make it any less fun, wish me luck or say a prayer 🙏

It's 9am and I've already had a productive morning. First stop, read some of Macabees for the first time in my life. Seems like crazy war stories to me 🤷🏽♀️ Joined the #coffeechain which was special because I'm down to only having one a few mornings per week. Repotted two plants in need of larger homes. Trimmed back my messy pineapples and another garden plant. Fertilised a bunch of plants. Spotted a praying mantis and did a photo shoot with him.
Then Toby got jealous of all the attention I was giving my garden and attacked my feet till I took photos of him too 🤣
