It's been years since I last had a real goose down pillow and I still remember them and miss them.

If your that careful with your sauce bottles, you'd probably make a great housemate. Most of mine drive me silently crazy. These days they buy their own condiments instead of using mine though so there's finally some relief for this cranky old thing 😅😏

Right?! That would be nice... Maybe... But probably too plain for me.

Then it stands to reason that self-esteem is for boring people 🤷🏽‍♀️

I don't think it's odd to be interesting for the sake of it, female or not. I consider myself interesting and pursue my own interests and I wouldn't have it any other way. I suspect that you, like me, are an acquired taste. Well worth it to anyone willing to put some effort in, but probably too much flavour for the average Joe to bother. 😜 Embrace it 🐁

You're neither writing too much or annoying, Leserin. I can see the effort you put into producing interesting content for nostr. I appreciate it because I don't have the time or energy to do it myself. Suddenly being introduced to your posts did make nostr more worth coming back to, you're not wrong. You do you and those who appreciate it will come and join you (when we have time). 💜

Something horrible happened last night.

I tried to relax by going to a Korean spa. At the women only section, where everyone was nude, there was a dude.

Imagine my and this other woman's shock.

If anyone remembers, or even knows, this happened in 2021 at a Korean spa and the video of women and girls complaining to the front desk went viral. More importantly, how the staff and bystanders (men) were scolding these women were being exposed. (Search "wi spa male in women's)

In the comment of that video, someone said "it's a weird world when the young white male millennial is lecturing a black woman about prejudice." I'm not going to get into the race debate, but this quote accurately depicted the crazy world we live in right now.

And back to last night. There was a little girl (probably 7 or 8 years old, I think of middle eastern background, her parents still have accents) in the spa, she and her mom got very shocked by the scene of the guy (looked like a young teen) so they went to talk to the staff.

The older Korean female employee with her heavy accent told them in a "talking-down-on-you" kind of tone:"She identifies as female! Transgender."

The girl and her mom looked all annoyed and confused and walked away.

I got out of that place as fast as I can and I'm sure I'll still have to process that trauma for days to come. But this little girl stayed on my mind and I pray for her not to be affected by this. This one very messed-up experience could change so much of how she approaches sex or it could affect her in many ways because it indeed was a trauma.

And btw, how much non-thinking did the Korean woman have to do to just regurgitate some bull crap like this and acted like this mother-daughter was the ignorant ones.

That's pretty messed up. I guess you felt more stressed than relaxed after that experience. The owner should have protected her customers and told him to take his transgender ideology elsewhere 🙄. One day letting men into places where women are vulnerable is going to go very wrong for both the women in her spa and her. 😔
