This week there is, for example, a popular app update for Amie and it gets lots of attention on Twitter
It got $7 million for a calendar app SAAS lol.
Issue also that VCs in majority want money out of you more than anything else so we end up seeing only success in how much startups earns and it’s often something B2B where a bigger corporation pays smaller company because they’ve got insane money in their accounts in the first place
No one can change the regulation, countless laws and taxes we’ve got, banks and finance.
The ideas that would elevate us and change the world are pretty simple, bitcoin was founded because of that too
But no one will allow you to do that because it’ll make a lot of people loose their monopolies and power
I was excited to get ps5 but turned out they only have a few big titles and a lot of it is monsters or horror

Global corporations that have physical presence like internet operators, power grid etc. like Vodafone or EDP
Vodafone in particular on my experience is the worst, least humane company out there I had to deal with, and I think the fact that it’s multinational and super rich - makes it able to continue to do that kind of business.
For a multinational company success metrics are different and as a result people get manipulated and squeezed.
Thousands of designers, call centers and developers are working to make it worse for the general public.
They have all the resources and lawyers to make their activities legal, maybe even paying to local politicians etc.
Especially in case of internet providers I think they must be national companies and setup in a way that they only enable growth, are secure and can’t be exploited or impose limits on freedoms (in worst case scenarios)
The way they do business is super outdated too and overpriced compared to alternatives existing today.
All employees I dealt with are either trying to manipulate you or are bored to death.
If you open maps and check each of their office it’s hard to find one that has rating above 2 stars.
I’m wondering how these toxic companies can exist today and no one seem to be working on solving that issue or thinking about that
