Yesterday was the first hearing in a defamation suit filed against Chainalysis for describing a crypto project as the second largest scam of 2022.
But Chainalysis did not argue that its statements are true. Instead, it argued that the suit was designed to prevent the firm from public participation, seeking a dismissal on NY Anti-SLAPP laws – designed to protect free speech.

Today, we found that X should not be designated as a core platform service under the Digital Markets Act.
We concluded that X does not qualify given that our investigation revealed that X is not an important gateway for business users to reach end users.
