I am kinda having the same experience, since I disclosed my assessment to a family member. Without the "everyone is diagnosed" part or raising any doubts, just being passive and not interested at all. It is confusing, but I assume it may be a common thing with late identified autists. So thanks for sharing, letting you know that you are not the only one. As for the "why?!", it is totally normal. And the point is simply that you wanna know who you are. Good luck!
