I’ve learned, contrary to all of my best laid plans, that sometimes, due to some peculiar feature of father son relations (no doubt), my son simply cannot learn certain lessons I impart at this juncture in time.

Much to my dismayed relief, my son has come home from his schooling with another teacher, only to share what he has learned; a lesson that I have broached with him so many times before.

Here, I am not speaking of positive reinforcement through iteration, but rather that there is some type of limit that exists between this father and son, beyond which nothing shall be imparted to him at this point in his youthful development.

A type of socializing, forcing function that pushes them out into a world of full spectrum experience, beyond the machinations of my egotistical central planning.
