Is anyone else terrified of the Orb thing?

If it’s all about proving you are a human, why do they need your Eye Scan + your identity documents to then split it in parts and send it to a few “trustworthy” institutions that will keep the data safe?

Why not just scan your eye without any identity attached to it?

I have an alive iris = I’m not a bot.

And if you need to prove your identity to your inner circle, or your boss, then, you just share only with them your identity/Iris.

For the rest you are just an anonymous human. They don’t need to know more.

Or even if you need that identity/Eye combo proof with the IRS or something, it could be done specifically for the use case with some Zero knowledge proof cryptography.

Am I completely off on this?
