Thinking of visiting Costa Rica next year (Feb 2026) and wondering if anyone sees this, can give some advice / info about traveling / exploring the country with Bitcoin!

So just found out about BitcoinJungle and thinking we may visit for our anniversary in February. Going to be doing some studying!

How widely accepted is BTC in the country? Or are there places like at the airport you can swap for local currency / prepaid cards?

Have started checking out the website already and those questions may be answered, so sorry if they already are. We’re excited about possibly coming to visit and experience!
