I don't have an issue with the experience on amethyst, pretty straightforward imo
You can pickwhayt relays you connect to, so ultimately you have full control of your experience
Relays are how our posts spread thru the network. if you experience censorship by relay operators then you can run your own and bypass the censorship. So far it's more user driven, by blocking a person, rather than the relay controlling content

I couldn't figure out why my Zaps to WoS users kept failing the past 2 days. Come to find out 1Hosts(Xtra) has added livingroomofsatoshi.com to the ban list. I can't think of any good explanation why benign Bitcoin sites are being added, I can only assume malicious intent by the list admins
