I am going to put my Lightning Wallet away and only use Cashu ecash for a month. This includes the weekend at Bitcoin Zitadelle in May 🤙
I’ll let you know how it goes 🥜💜
Right now when minting a token your wallet has to constantly ask the mint whether the invoice was paid. With this there is a bidirectional communication between mint and wallet, so that the mint can actually let the wallet know once the invoice was paid.
Testing Cashu minting flow powered by Websockets in Cashu-ts 🙌🏻
Soon polling will be a thing of the past 🥜 https://video.nostr.build/03b71584b5ade214c21094da2d42696b7eadcb38be45e53aec617d67954ef561.mp4
I like this, but generally I prefer buttons on the lower end of the screen for Mobil usability.
I am sure nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac is more than happy to help with this
No, I am currently rebuilding the alias purchase service for npub.cash and want to automatically forward some part of every payment to OpenSats. However I would like to make sure that the payments to that address actually go towards the general fund
I really want to but I can not find an answer to this

A true “I use … btw” photo LMAO
It’s an open source board called Corne. I built this one myself, but there are several shops where you can get prebuilts.
This is the repository: https://github.com/foostan/crkbd
I have been running it a week and so far I am loving it. My posture is way better and thanks to the layers navigation feels really snappy too. The learning curve is steep can be frustrating, but probably because I chose to go cold turkey
Working on what is hopefully the last rewrite of Cashu’s WebSocket spec. LFG 🥜

Since I moved to the countryside people keep asking me if I would miss the city… nah! https://video.nostr.build/7aaa7688dff79e9184e9d8d7e5257fde358b0f0bfbb214191f1f31bab6bf7dcd.mp4

Isn’t it? #asmr haha
It’s a Corne v3 with Cherry brown switches.
There are multiple factors. First of all there was a lot of competition right at the halving, because people wanted to get their TX in the block. It caused a peak of transactions that resulted in a backlog.
Then there are runes (aka. shitcoins). This protocol promotes an auction like fee-competition because people do not only compete for block space but also for runes.
It’s an ergonomic split keyboard. The Corne V3 https://github.com/foostan/crkbd
Finally back to something close to 40 wpm… GM 💜🧡 https://video.nostr.build/f0166843742b551d2dba2b29dc0e93c62c750c69f07209042ca8b8b8faf0225f.mp4
If you mint a nut today, your wallet will request an invoice from the mint and then constantly ping the mint whether it has been paid yet or not. This is called polling.
With WebSockets a bidirectional communication is established, so that the mint can simply ping the wallet once the invoice is paid
