Everyone who goes on X and reports doxx posts of Fiatjaf for privacy violations, and publishes screenshot proof here in the replies, will receive at least 2121 sats from me.

🫡 Keep the sats 🤙
Doxxing an anonymous developer is a disgraceful act and has no place in investigative journalism. It's simply wrong, especially when the intent is to undermine an open protocol that champions free speech and its supporters.
This is an attack on the freedom of speech and the right to privacy. Everyone involved in this article should be ashamed of themselves. nostr:note1rny78ayklk7dgtxac9qaed5p8a7l94utruk456pyyqjgrx2hmr8snva58f

npub.cash payment notifications coming to your desktop 💜
What else should the desktop client do?

Man I really have to admit... Building the npub.cash desktop client using Electron as exercise has been so much fun... I think this is the most fun I had building something in a couple of weeks if not moths... kudos Electron

The frontend DX is pretty awesome though. I dabbled with Fyne and QT a bit, but found it quite cumbersome (probably did not give it enough time though).
I will definitely give Wails a shot soon (but that’s HTML/Js on the frontend again)
Interesting. What makes you say that? Or is this a jab at JavaScript for reinventing everything every couple of years?
And you have every right to. I personally try to make the jump, but my velocity in Go is just a lot lower. So most of the project I start are still TypeScript.
A year ago I was wondering why anyone would ever use Classes is Javascript... Now I look at my code and see a AppController instance that keeps a dual binding reference to a Wallet interface that also acts as an Observable to keep other parts of the app informed of state updates...
This is what reading nostr:npub19mun7qwdyjf7qs3456u8kyxncjn5u2n7klpu4utgy68k4aenzj6synjnft books does to you... Be careful
Happy to help with this depending on the details . Send me a DM
Just tested the duress pin on GrapheneOS... Pretty awesome! But without plausible deniability this really takes some balls to use in a wrench attack situatiin lmao
Well... I don’t see the benefit for porting standard web apps really as they don’t interact with the system anyways (beside standard web API).
I have been hating on Electron for such a long time, but it’s a pretty amazing development experience TBH 🙃
👀
I really hate working with file paths in node… such a mess
But I am THIS close to dockerizing npub.cash with automatic database setup… 🤬
2 mio sats are on the table:

Steak thermometer yes or no? 🥩
Those are .ts files haha, but I guess due to the compression of nostr.build I could now be mistaken for a real dev lmao
