Just got back from an incredible BTC++ ecash Edition 🥜🥜

This event gave me a fresh perspective and really hit home. Modern ecash is true freedom technology, designed to thrive in even the most hostile environments. What we’re building today will directly impact the financial freedom of those who need it most. Absolutely overwhelming.

Big thanks to nostr:npub1e0z776cpe0gllgktjk54fuzv8pdfxmq6smsmh8xd7t8s7n474n9smk0txy for organizing such a fantastic conference and bringing so many brilliant minds together! 💜

You mean NIP60/61? I don’t think so. It’s not merged yet.

If you missed it, here is a VOD 💜

Want to get into cashu development? I will be hosting a workshop at btc++ about “Basic cashu wallet development with cashu-ts” in 25 minutes! 🥜

nostr:npub1yxp7j36cfqws7yj0hkfu2mx25308u4zua6ud22zglxp98ayhh96s8c399s starting his „NWC in Cashu“ workshop by handrolling a index.html file made my day.

btc++ Berlin here we come 🔥

What are you running? All I want is not too much bloatware and a performant tiling wm

I gave Arch and Hyprland a very first try today and I gotta say… I am not sure if I have the time for this lmao!

A next attempt has to wait though. Packing my bags and heading to btc++ now!

Calling it a DIY laptop would be taking it a bit too far I think. It’s a fully repairable / upgradable laptop. They let you source RAM, storage and OS yourself.

Framework puts little QR codes on all of the replaceable parts inside your laptop. Scan one and it points you straight to the manual for that specific part.

Pretty neat. I hope they make sure to keep those links alive lmao

Yes, DIY. It literally only took a couple of minutes. All you gotta do is to seat ram and ssd, connect a single cable and put cover and bezel on

I think I will give it a shot. I am not worried about my coding work, as I am using neovim anyways, but it the normie activities that scare me. Things like MS teams, Zoom calls, etc...

The more I read about different distros the more I want to try Arch...

nostr:npub1mhcr4j594hsrnen594d7700n2t03n8gdx83zhxzculk6sh9nhwlq7uc226 do you need any help with payment requests? I think your PR is a good start.

I think we are already on a good track. Getting more feedback would be great though!
