You are right! You know how easy I get distracted by shiny new projects :>

Yeah, let’s do it! Let’s get a workgroup together and figure out how to spec this.

I would probably write a NUT that extends the NIP-47 commands. What do you think?

I actually started working on a NWC Cashu “Server” a couple of weeks ago, so I am happy to put this into writing

Will let you know once I get mine :) long time MacBook Air user here

I did, but the idea that the Logic Board can be replaced once you want to upgrade and that the old one can be run as better RPi made me go for the framework.

I think it’s fairly easy to reason about :D

Yep, but compared to Apple it’s cheap af. I got a MacBook Pro with a broken “A” key… repair costs: 1800$

Because the keyboard is soldered onto the mainboard.

With framework you can repair / replace pretty much any part for cheap. And once they release a new version, you can upgrade the mainboard and use the old one inside a 3d printed chassis as a home server

A modular and repairable laptop

You can source RAM and storage yourself. I did

Awesome! 13 or 16? I think I’ll take it easy first and go for Ubuntu

My last few days as macOS user have begun… Can’t wait 🔥

This time of the year again… brrr
