So you will mirror all notes of interest to you to a self hosted relay, and direct your clients to only use that relay? That sounds interesting, would like to see your implementation when it's ready, if you don't mind

Good choice! I got mine 5 months ago. By far the best laptop I owned, after plenty of MacBooks and Thinkpads, and great Linux support as well. Which distro are you going to run?

Excited to start reading The Genesis Book by nostr:npub1art8cs66ffvnqns5zs5qa9fwlctmusj5lj38j94lv0ulw0j54wjqhpm0w5. Extra credits for making the book open source!

Is anyone going to #Token2049 in #Dubai?

I can't find an open source Farcaster client that allows me to register. Warpcast requires an email address and payment through Google Play Services, that doesn't work for me. Am I missing something?

I'm new here, just curious to learn why encrypting things (I assume in notes) is a anti-pattern. With data I meant note content.

Private messaging (NIP-04) seems to use encryption, would this not be a recommended use case for Nostr?

I'm curious, why is this an anti-pattern? There are quite some use cases for storing encrypted data in notes
