I have been running nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct for a couple years now and it has dramatically changed my digital landscape. Not only does it make it easy to run your own bitcoin node, but I've also slowly been dropping centralized apps with self-hosted solutions. Even though I don't run everything through Umbrel OS it has opened me to the world of self-hosting.
#decentralized #sovereigntech
What have the most impactful decentralised apps been?
I don't recommend Muun, it hides the difference between lightning and onchain making it a little confusing. Phoenix or Breez
To file under: financial sovereignty, Western hypocrisy
It's a beautiful day.

Things I'm looking forward to here:
- Meeting more of the Bitcoin community
- Not having Web3 bullshit forced down my throat!
Twitter is a quick-burning dumpster fire and Mastodon is all muddled thinking - centralised in all the worst ways and also decentralised in the worst ways. Nostr actually makes sense though, and the UX is great. I can see it catching on...
