I’ve restricted my use of Twitter to only when Im in my wee office on work mode.

I removed the app of my phone maybe 3 weeks ago now.

As someone who’s been a newshound for years it’s pretty challenging. Twitter is the ultimate source for breaking news but all things considered it’s an emotional pit and a time sink.

I do feel out of the loop but I also feel more peaceful and have to put things in perspective: “Who cares about this trivial bs, it’s utterly inconsequential to me.”

I missed the Trump assassination attempt. I had my phone turned off on Saturday night and learned about it through CONVERSATION with a friend on the Sunday afternoon.

What is this, the 1990s?

Jokes aside, given that my mind is slowly disconnecting from global and foreign concepts I’ve ended up noticing the little things locally a lot more.

That’s been nice.

My response to those who think #Bitcoin is a risk...

I've done everything the "system" has asked of me, working full time for decades since leaving school & literally have NOTHING to my name, born working class, remain working class, literally living paycheque to paycheque.

I don't own an house, I don't own a car & have even used food banks in the past.

The sad reality is I don't even see this way of life as a struggle, I see it as normal, this really is normal for my area.

This may seem like a negative whinging post but it's really not, it's a message of positivity, a message of hope.

I will continue to get the sats I can, as I know I'm doing the right things. Node, air gapped wallet, self sovereignty.

I will never own many sats, but the risk simply just isn't there for me & to a lot of other poor plebs out there in the world, Bitcoin is not a risk to them too, it is a lifeline, it is a CHANCE & a chance is all we hope to grasp.

We don't want fame, we don't even want fortune, we are hoping to exit the system that has taken everything from us whilst offering nothing.

It's a common story, only the rich or those who I consider rich are the only demographics still screaming about bitcoin being a risk.

It’s just show. I can guarantee you he has a team of people working up bullet pints so he sounds like he knows what he’s talking about, but in reality, it’s just trump trying to win votes.
