I ordered the 863-928 MHz for EU.
And had to set it to EU_868Mhz.
For People in US it's the 902-928 MHz and it has to be set to US_915Mhz.
Man darf nur eine bestimmte Anzahl an Nachrichten pro Stunde verschicken. Wenn du zu viele raushaust, wirst du eine Nachricht bekommen und musst warten bis die Zeit abgelaufen ist um wieder schreiben zu können. Das ist halt durch die EU reguliert. Aber bei einer normalen Nutzung dürftest du die Meldung nicht bekommen.
Warte mal ab, bis du die Benachrichtigung auf der Meshtastic App bekommst, dass du zu viele Nachrichten innerhalb einer Stunde verschickt hast 😂
Die Boards sollten den Frequenzbereich 863-928 MHz unterstützen. Also sollte das passen. Wichtig ist nur, dass du sie auf Region EU_868 MHz einstellst.
Mir hat die Telegramm Gruppe Meshtastic users Germany (D-A-CH) sehr viel weitergeholfen. Da findet man als Einsteiger eigentlich alle Antworten auf seine Fragen:
Das finde auch eine gute Idee. Der Stromverbrauch von den Nodes ist ziemlich unterschiedlich. Aber wenn du das Display ausschaltest und weitere Energiespareinstellungen vornimmst, kann man schon ziemlich viel einsparen.
Nachdem du die Meshtastic Firmware per webflasher geflasht hast, musst du die Region einstellen. Das ist bei uns EU_868 MHz. Mit der standard Antenne kann die Reichweite in städtischen Gebieten auf bis zu 0,6km reduziert sein und im ländlichen Raum ohne Hindernisse auch mehr als 14km betragen. Ich hatte in der Stadt anfänglich 1,6km Reichweite, aber auch schon Nodes in 50km Entfernung gesehen.
Ja genau. Dafür das ich im Gäu wohne finde ich noch relativ viele andere Nodes. Mitunter auch richtig weit weg. Ist auf jeden Fall spannend und man lernt zusätzlich noch was.
