I keep wondering Why Primal shadowbans posts?, Is it censoring?

I have to use #Amethyst as well, otherwise I miss out most of what is going on in Nostr, not cool

example, just now

nostr:npub176s08chsm0nf8yzervram3a74ll8m6z9tcsve2avz0n7fhuuee9sw2a3r5 posted 2 hours ago and still is not showing in Primal, if you are using only Primal you are missing out, install another client and compare, #Amerhyst so far gives me the best user experience including privacy

it is known, agree, those using #Primal do not have a good user experience, they are missing out the full #Nostr potential

Sad but true...

The apathy of people around the world is quite shocking,

I assume is ignorance, but considering how the majority of the population behaved during the Covid19 PLANDEMIC, it is only logical to conclude, the majority are just ignorant, gaslighted and distracted... That is how entire civilizations collapse, it seems we are very close

If you do some research among cyber security experts you will find that Sentry is mentioned as a more private alternative to Firebase Crashlytics.

Sentry is more private due to its focus on developer-first error tracking and performance monitoring, without the need for crowdsourced data. Still there may be data collection, that is not perfect, but, IMO, tolerable...

But I agree, no trackers is the way to go for full users trust, specially when your target users are technically curious or savvy

I did too, one of my first checks of any new app is for trackers, I tolerate Sentry, but anything else if I have a choice is a no gp

I believe that will be appealing to three type of users

1. The influencers with many users. Their follows are a signal, their views and comments are a signal and affect their image and therefore, in many cases their source of income. So they create alternative neutral personas to interact. Some of them may not have even an official account here but an alter ego persona for free interaction

2. The social professional researcher that will create personas to engage in social studies to evaluate the population reaction to many subjects, no reaction is information too.

3. The trolls, those that have an identify only to troll others

Happening in all platforms if is just more difficult in centralized platforms since to you need a new email, new mobile number, etc That is not a showstopper and the proof is in the pudin

depends of your needs:

Mullvad:

If you want anonymous and private and coming from a company that can't link your IP to any personal information even with a court order.

Mullvad as well is ahead of the game with their encryption and rvpn protocols.

Proton:

If you need only pseudo anonymity (your account probabky has an email address and you use their cloud and calendar) and you need more options, Proton has a huge variety of exit nodes all across the world and their VPN is excellent, battle proof, no IP leakage.

Suggestion:

If you are already using email with Proton choose the Mullvad option, unless you need the variety of exit nodes.

Best to have one service per provider instead of an all in one, that is just bad opsec

Anyone on here using nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll i'm considering making a purchase soon for an all in one node, lightning node, relay, personal server ect.

do I do with the server pure or server one?

#asknostr

why not to build your own, wouldn't that be more fun?

you can start with something cheap like an old laptop and if you like it and need it move to somefhing more robust.

I first tested star9 OS with a raspberryPI 4 with an external SSD of 2TB, worked flawlessly, 3 years running a Node without a glitch.

Played with more robust hardware to add NexCloud, relays, etc, quite stable and excellent OS

#Linux is the only OS choice for privacy at the cost of having to learn the system and having limitations of choice in terms of hardware and software, that is the price.

but yes, a well funded fork with an effort to accommodate the masses would be nice.

on most clients like Amethyst is quite easy.

Tell them to click on your profile, go to your follows and click "follow" on each one of them

is not KYC, you can use a fresh new web3 wallet for payment. And once your get the .xmr web3 domain, which is forever with no yearly payments, you can create an IPFS redirection for people with no monero wallets to pay you I to monero with anon payments like trocador ... it is useful

You have two type of buyers, the speculators (majority) that want to make money and use it as a store of vakue until they need to spent it and the HOLDERS for life that use it as a store of value and believe it will change the world as we know it under the slogan "fix the money, fix the world"

If you just want to make money with it:

Open an account in Coinbase Sweden or Kraken as you will do with any bank of stock broker. Send a wire transfer and buy Bitcoin once the funds are received.

Once it reaches the desired target price, sell it and withdraw your fiat.

If you want to to hold it long term and spend it when need it to buy goods and services that accept Bitcoin;

Since you are not technicality savvy, use the same process above to buy and withdraw few hundred dollars to a wallet in your mobile that has LN⚡, lighting network. Being non tech savvy yiubwill prefer a custodial one, Wallet of Satoshi is a good option.

Many people buys gift cards with Bitrefill, there are more options. Not sure if in Sweden you have strike.me , if you do, that would be all you need

Last but not least, even easier for you will be to get a Coinbase paid card, sell few hundred dollars of Bifcoi when needed and spend it using the debit card.
