Money is just a means of exchange. It's a physical representation of an individual's time and effort to earn it. The root of money is out brain power basically. The Federal Reserve Note is a Debt instrument. A Note.. We pay interest to use it. It's someone else's property. It is not rooted in the effort of individuals. It can be printed/counterfeited by a third party. Without this ability to print more paper, the Deep State would not exist as it does today, and this one thing, stopping a third party from having the ability to print more paper money, will fix the money. This is what makes Bitcoin so powerful.. It's value as a measure of effort cannot be devalued by inflation.

Anyone familiar with Nodeless.io ? Seems this might be the path to business on Nostr.. I just heard about it. Don't know much about it but it intrigued me enough to look into it.

I realized right away the only real decentralized crypto was Bitcoin. I never bought any of'em. My only regret in all of this is that one of my sons told me to buy Bitcoin when it was $3.50 a coin.. Maybe we Free Market Nostrites have to talk about our money and how the Global Green Socialists are looking to take every penny earned. That is the Politician/Central Banks mandate. Without the Federal Reserve System you wouldn't have inflation as it stands now. With an amount of currency certain, politicians would have to tax us more to spend more, or invade the private sector and compete for the available money. Just think banks having to compete to lure new savers, in order to have capital they could then lend out to businesses. Free market competition is good. I think a lot of government programs would go by the wayside, and if they did offer value to the free markets, they'd become private businesses creating wealth for society.

It seems there's lots of concern on Nostr today about BTC & Lightning being a passing phase. LN nodes closing down etc. My take, until the pain of the economy hits a big majority of people hard, it's an uphill battle to make a fundamental change, and as of now the pain hasn't caused major upheavals to people's lives. Enough upheaval that the Fake News can't hide it all. Considering credit card & home equity borrowings are at historic levels of debt, I think this is the the pain that is building. and will make BTC & LN come to the front of the line.
