I was mind blown by how smooth an experience it is to sign into a new client with my nsec. Really wow 🤯. Powerful to be able to choose.
So I’ve been playing around with 2 clients on iOS.
My DMs load way faster on nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 than on nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg .
I seem to get push notifications really quickly on Damus as well.
Having said that, my home “feed” loads faster on Primal , and I essentially don’t have a feed on Damus. It just shows a blank loading screen.
In terms of my “notifications” and being able to see zaps, mentions, replies, etc. - these won’t load on either client and being on fast wifi doesn’t seem to help.
Any pointers?
I'm an Adroid user don't know about Damus. I use two clients:
Primal- It does take its time to load sometimes. DMs do load fast for me. I use it to post sometimes because I find the emoji setup easier to use.
noStrudel: This one is my go to client. Has a lot more things on it such as Communities. I really like the interface, although Primal has also done a really good job. For some reason, it won't notify me of new followers so I use Primal for that.
Alternatively, you can also try Amethyst. I never got used to its UI but I go in and play with it from time to time.
