The LSP wallets like Phoenix/Zeus/Breez/Green are pretty good for that in between a stacking wallet and onchain, I don't feel I NEEDED to run a LN node other than to push me out of my comfort zone and understand it better. Only several months in so, we'll see how it goes.
But the crazy things going on with NWC and and how easily I can plug into things with lightning in general is wild.
It's helped me a lot with utxo management. Nostr gives me others to send sats to other than myself 😂
Plus it's really pushed me to learn more in general. To the point of running a node, which has been a fun side hobby to figure out for my dumb ass.
