Quick thought on markets today:
When banks are short on cash, the normal market response is simple. Sell assets, cover shorts, let prices clear. Thatโs discipline. Thatโs price discovery.
But when the Fed steps in with overnight repo liquidity, it short-circuits that process. Instead of forced deleveraging, we get emergency cash. Instead of prices adjusting, funding stress is capped.
Call it what it is: lender of last resort behavior.
Theyโll say itโs โmarket plumbingโ or โorderly functioning.โ Traders know better. It suppresses volatility, delays risk being repriced, and keeps leverage alive longer than it should be.
In a free market, cash scarcity forces decisions.
In todayโs market, cash scarcity gets patched.
Thatโs the regime weโre in.

Thereโs gotta be an easier way than installing a whole OS like umbrel, honestly, this is why Iโve steered clear of Jade, if thereโs no clear way to self host the final step for seed import. Thereโs no real way to use the device without a third party

No, that wouldnโt be a good experience as youโd need your friend to have their ZEUS app open when you want to make payments.

Okay cool! I like that. I donโt use the embedded node option, but I have recommended it to a lot of folks.
I need to learn more about how the channels work on that. I want to be able to open a channel to a friend running the embedded node.
