#Meshtastic trivia bot. This could be a fun project to try and looks like it should be fairly straightforward to run.

Are you saying shitposting on Nostr isn’t productive? 🤣

Took a day off from the fiat mines today. I was originally planning to do some things around the house but this weather is too good to stay inside. 🌞

I bought a cheapish Motorola a little while back for testing Nostr apps on Android, and also for running the Meshtastic Android app as I think that is slightly nicer than the iOS version. I was actually kind of surprised how well some of the apps work on a cheap Android device.

I like Damus because it is simple and clean and there are still some things I find work better than with other apps but agreed that it does lack features compared with other apps now.

I'm amazed at how fast nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q is now. It might be one of the best nostr:#Nostr clients on the market now.

I had a look at the iOS version recently and really like the look of it. I’m still using Damus as my main client for the moment but it is nice to have good alternatives.

Just noticed that the IPv6 address for the Australian Ubuntu mirror (actually mirror.aarnet.edu.au) ends in cafe:beef🥩

Where did that fee come from if you have a low fee channel to WoS?

🤣🤣🤣 I changed my zaps to go to WoD temporarily in preparation for shutting down the old node and setting up the new one. Maybe you don’t have a good cheap path to WoS?

Tonight’s sunset

Agreed. Until you drop it and smash the screen, then it’s not so nice 🤣

After looking through the documentation I am tempted to give Eclair a go but it does look like there will be a bit of a learning curve.. nostr:note1jujyx698hxplq3k4t2k6685tcw62q9gs0pkd82evgt403kqmehsq560fuc

Yeah Nostore works for web apps using Safari. I think if you want to use another native iOS client (e.g. the Primal or YakiHonne app) then you still need to use your private key directly.

I do pretty much the same using Nostore on iOS and only using my nsec directly in Damus. I’ve got a complete separate nsec that I use just for testing other clients etc so if it ends up somhow compromised I haven’t lost my main account.

Looks like I’ve spent too much time on Nostr today instead of working 😂 Not even 5pm yet and phone battery is down to 3% mostly used by Damus..
