What are you on? I always recommend Zorin to people switching from Windows, but it has multiple interfaces you can choose from. elementaryOS is the better macOS clone by default, but I wouldn't recommend it necessarily.
Not necessarily a recommendation for a beginner, but I'm using NixOS. Very different from normal distributions/Windows/macOS in how you set it up, but once you have your configuration.nix file complete it is very easy to get back to the same system on a different machine โ๏ธ๐
