I don't entirely agree with the explanation, as it fails to deliver that you *can* have changes to the core but it is a lot more cumbersome and *usually* needing a reboot to apply the changes. And not all "immutable" distributions use images for updates βοΈπ
I'm curious how you define how "far" a project is?
Is there a technical reason to jump ship? Otherwise I've heard that GNU Guix is also a declarative Linux distribution βοΈπ
