Yeah, it just keeps getting weirder, doesn’t it?

I’ve been in Auckland in winter. At least it’s not cold here today!

Caravan in north Wales….

I tuink it’s pretty regional. Some parts of the UK have a tick problem, mostly (aiui) because they have a deer problem.

What is this? Clothes drier? Food drier? Storage?

I think I need to retire this jumper :(

Weird. It certainly looks like it’s pretty comprehensive.

Could there be some sort of opt-out for private landowners, maybe?

That could have been so much worse. Sounds like they were lucky to have both firemen and medics staying on the site.

I guess that’s good, that they have it contained.

When we get fires on the moors here they can burn for weeks, it gets into the peat and just smoulders away.

I shouldn’t laugh….

Is it still burning, then?

Trendy name for anorexia.

This part is certainly true, although not in the way they intended:

Spending on LGBT-themed events, merchandise and sponsorship in June totalled Β£554,000 across police forces, NHS trusts, councils and fire services, figures show.

Research conducted by the TaxPayers’ Alliance (TPA) think tank found the Greater London Authority was the highest spender, with City Hall spending Β£126,700 on grant funding, T-shirts and flags.
