The problem with "Big *insert industry*" is not the industry but the reasons why they're "Big" in the first place.
Governance is natural to Human Existence, just don't force it down our gullets.
Pharmaceuticals are not inherently bad, they're a tool. Incentives need to be fixed in the industry.
Military education and production is necessary for anyone to defend themselves. Incentives need to be fixed.
Technology, Universities, Hospitals, etc.
They all have a place in the Economy, but we'll never know where they produce the most value until the incentives are resolved. #Bitcoin is one of many steps of the resolution.
If the branding wasn't there, I'd think this was another Bitcoin Conference😂

Looking forward to more "infighting" as Bitcoiners get wealthier, its bound to happen.

I second this opinion, I'd actually vote if it was RCV.
Damn, thats fucked
I know people who have been told to their face that they were a "mistake" and that is ROUGH
Not everyone is meant to be a parent. Develop some virtues, seek God.
Not trying to defend the guy, there are such things as "happy accidents"
We take care of our Grandma, who is bedridden, and I pick her up like Simba in the Lion King.
Everyone else struggles to pick her up, looking like they're preparing to do a wrestling bodyslam 😂
Been living with my Mother since I was a preteen, she supported me all throughout college.
Now I'm helping by carrying my weight and making it easier on everyone in the household to live in a HCOL State.
I could easily get a low six figure job out of town, but at what cost? We're all benefitting from living with one another.
Statistically speaking, I'm doing better than the vast majority of my peers when it comes to finances. So laugh it up when you hear I still live with my Mom.
My ex was Sicilian/Chinese and thought the proper way to cook stovetop rice was to let the water boil over.
It was the Chinese Grandpa that taught that method
Same, heavily emphasize the "...CAN learn to code..."
I did basic C++ classes at uni, then did scientific computing for a computational physics course. Still dumbfounded on programming.
I can navigate a Jupyter notebook
Learning how to code is essentially as important as learning how to write.
What they both have:
- Languages
- Syntax
- Punctuation
- Formatting
The cool thing about code is that when code don't work, it'll give you an Error message.
If you can write an essay, you can learn to code a program.

"...there is no real difference in principle between coercive and voluntary arrangements."
What a joke lol
What book is this?
I'd recommend reading at least the 3rd section/article at this link, but I'll include a portion of the article as a teaser and then I'm commenting at the end.

"New research coming from the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University indicates a dramatic transformation in the morality of the youngest generation of Americans compared to previous generations. Christian researcher Dr. George Barna identifies this as part of the influence of an increasingly secular Millennial and Gen X worldview—and those generations are teaching and parenting our youngest generations.
Data from the recent American Worldview Inventory 2024 indicates that younger generations have shifted their morality in discouraging ways:
-- A majority of adults accept lying, abortion, consensual intercourse between unmarried adults, gay marriage, and the rejection of absolute moral truth as morally acceptable.
-- Less than half of all adults embrace the Bible as their primary guide to morality.
-- A minority believes that every moral choice either honors or dishonors God.
-- A large minority of adults accept the notion that as long as you do no harm, you may do whatever you wish.
That’s not all. Other stats are just as alarming:
-- Nearly 7 out of 10 Millennials (age 22-40) and members of Gen Z (age 21 and younger) consider having an abortion to be acceptable behavior.
-- 69 percent of Millennials and 73 percent of Gen Zs consider sex between consenting, unmarried adults to be morally acceptable.
-- Only half of older adults say lying “to protect your personal best interests” is morally acceptable, but 6 out of 10 Gen Zs are just fine with lying."
MY TAKE:
How is a society supposed to function when the majority don't believe in objective truth but do believe lying for personal gain is acceptable? Nobody can contract with another or work together when you can't trust the other person to tell the truth.

I'll be doing my part to raise God fearing children. Home School, Go to Church, be Prosperous.
I just have to find a Wife lol
Accept what we cannot control and keep following the path that God made for us.
Interesting when people I talk to conflate Libertarianism with being a "Libertine". They are not the same.
Legal != Moral
Is there a Nostr solution for a YT or Rumble clone?
I know zap.stream is a Twitch/Kick alternative
Is this an unreasonable ask for Nostr and the relays?
