Milei sounds like a new imperialist in that clip
While no politico is perfect, I agree with Javier's disdain for communistas. Their ideology is founded on tyranny & their track record is one of oppression and violence. Central banking immediately comes to mind and it’s an institution that is a forerunner to the establishment of a communist society; as outlined by measure #5 of the communist manifesto which says, “Centralization of Credit in the Hands of the State, by Means of a National Bank with State Capital and an Exclusive Monopoly.”
Sadly due to the acceptance of the myth of a “mixed economy”, while in reality no such thing exists. Mises once remarked, “There is no middle ground between capitalism and socialism. Either the means of production are privately owned and operated for profit, or they are owned and operated by the state."
Thankfully we have #Bitcoin, a tool that defanged central banks while simultaneously becoming the new foundation for truly free markets. Like Javier, may we not give an inch to any communista & their ideologies & getting #bitcoin in as many hands as possible is a critical first step towards that. https://video.nostr.build/a1b0f678dff6b66e4efb15bb277a23cae1be4e4a9cab8c30bbf15a1187ea6d8a.mov
The difficulty is that those "categories"/words are so old, tired and useless... Crony capitalism has been proven pretty damaging

"Teach" 😅😬
Generally avoided debt earlier in my life but not great at saving much, when I finally understood bitcoin was an effective savings tool, I "sold my chair" to stack more 😅
I know mining is a super competitive business but if they would have the courage to throw a curveball at the market and voluntarily offer a fork with a curtailed block reward schedule, it could quite possibly induce price hyperbitcoinization at this juncture (and they would shortly recoup any losses, and then some)
Plus, the incentives of bitcoin could even potentially decentralize chip r&d and production as it becomes a "national security" issue to participate in the network
There's that old backwards compatibility
I recently wrote that I find the word capitalism un-useful and you're still using it... Seriously, how are you going to win me over debating like this?!
And, yes, I have met people from many countries, and I can also read (and discern?) books
To be balanced, crazy stories of violence towards individuals in most/all? Communist regimes!
Don't necessarily disagree with you stacksats... Its just that I find "capitalism" and " communism " such tired, old words that aren't very useful anymore
I mean how many WMDs does a country need... Speaking of capital misallocation
Violence exists though, Americans excel it! ☺
Money and violence are best buds... No point in pretending that capitalism solves this
Bitcoin may mitigate this association for a period of time though
I'm gonna go with: invasion of Alberta
