After setting a family members self custody today, they sent me money I was owed. Wallet to wallet.
It was only after they clicked send and saw it quickly arrive in my wallet, did they realize/say "wow, you can easily pay people in bitcoin".
It occurred to me that up until that moment, they were thinking of bitcoin as no different from the assets in their stock portfolio.
I guess my point is something like.. buying #bitcoin via etf, or just holding it on an exchange doesn't allow people to see what bitcoin is or what it can do.
To me it looks like simple bitcoin education begins with simply interacting with bitcoin.
