Don't know what to do with all the zucchini and squash that you are growing? Try this cheesy casserole!
Chop up your zucchini /squash and lightly salt and let sit in a colander for an hour.
Sauté as much onion and garlic as you like and mix with sour creme & mayo (about 1/1 ratio), shredded cheese of choice (about the same amount of mayo/sour creme, we used parm and cheddar ) mix in veggies and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Pull out and top with cheese of choice and bake at 350 until cheese reaches desired color.

Wife's 1st batch of Comfrey Salve for the season is ready to go! We give these to family members and friends and sell what's left over. If you aren't familiar with Comfrey and all of the healing benefits of it, please look into it, it's an amazing plant.
If you would like to purchase a 2oz tin of salve (Tallow or Organic Olive Oil based) we sell it for $15 a tin shipped. Just send me a message with your preference.
We infuse the tallow and organic olive oil and bees wax for 48 hour's via sous vide which produces amazing results.

Took a bone in pork butt and did a 48 hour sousvide cook to make pulled pork. Then fried the left overs. Poor man's carnitas. #ThatsWhatsforDinner

Scraps
Wondering what you guys do with your scraps. We found our dogs a raw diet and found that the local butchers and butcher shops send a fair amount of their scraps to the rendering plants/companies. From the feathers to rabbit skulls we feed our dogs almost the entire animal. So there may be a market in your area to sell scraps to dog owners.
Hey Jack @jackspirko could you please start a TSP community on this Reddit Like Community run on Nostr. If you aren't interested in doing it, do you mind if one is started without you?
Wife harvested a bunch of comfrey and garlic today. Garlic bulbs weren't as large as we had hoped (bad weather) but thankful for the bounty we have.

Very cool. Would love to start making these fruit alcohols. We will need to learn this skill set.
7 days later and we still have some sugar and fermenting going on in our Sour Cherry Liqueur. Another week should do it and we will end the fermenting process, add grain alcohol and age for three months.

You need bone sauce! #permaculturepimpcast
All we do is equal parts, fruit & sugar, ferment until sugar is gone and add equal part liquor of choice (amount of alcohol depends on how strong you want it). Super easy and delicious!
Day 2 of home made Sour Cherry Liqueur We make all sorts of different flavors of Liqueurs and give them out as gifts at the holidays.

I love how the title of this article is leaning on the word science. Where the only scientific fact was the surface area factor. The rest is all opinion. I'm not convinced. #dogma what do you think #grownostr? Crushed or cubed?

I am not putting crushed ice in a Manhattan
