This is the problem with the left.

We're keen to see our democracy die as the right dismantles it because we're afraid to break a rule.

Folks, rules were thrown out the moment Trump decided Canada was going to be his 51st state up to just yesterday.

We are at war, and it's fucking time we saw it as such.

Our sovereignty is at dire risk.

Rules be damned. Stop pussy footing around. Get the fuck up.

Everyone has to be out by Friday at noon MDT. At least 5000 evacuees will arrive in #yyc. Flights start at 1 pm Thursday. Yellowknife Hospital is closing units and negotiating medivac flights with SK, AB, and BC… whoever can take patients.

The mayor of Yellowknife has handed control of the city to the NWT government.

My heart goes out to everyone up north.

Donald Trump is the first former presient to face 3 indictments and 78 charges in two states and DC.

He's also the first Home Alone 2 actor to be indicted.

To have the technical skills to keep your shit running AND the people skills to deal with the inevitable assholes AND the patience to deal with the well-meaning but clueless people

ARGH

Sometimes I've just wanted to be a user, particularly when I've been on vacation... or I unlock my phone in the morning and I have a user screaming at me in my email or mentions. It's easy for folks to forget there's a human on the other end.

That said, I'm still incredibly humbled and inspired by the trust our community has put into me, as a custodian of their experience on the fediverse.

Colour me shocked.
