I would argue that something is political if it utilizes political (violence) means. The vaccine became political when attempts were made to force people to get it; letting people opt out is almost the definition of non-political. These are all problems today with democracy, tomorrow the problems will be hyper inflation, endless war, and the tyanny of the mob voting to steal all your stuff and put your head on a pike. Of course, "democratic™" rarely means "democracy", it means *whatever I like and nothing I dont*; its amorphous, it changes based on the motivations of its user, there is no universifiable moral values that can be defined. Maybe a two state solution isnt even the answer, but what seems clear to me is that israel is likely responsible for their own problems with terrorism, and is not justified in their response.
