Many people have come to rely on you for understanding how to use mastodon (and the fediverse generally), and will assume you're speaking in some official capacity.

But what you're doing is advocating for a particular view of the fediverse — which I consider alarmist and, at the very least, open to debate. There's no objective standard by which a server can be declared "too large." Why stoke this conflict?

Close to the subway, an easy walk from Dupont Circle, two stories with specialized rooms for jazz and classical. I could never get in and out of that place without dropping some money. But what discoveries I made, just because there was so much stuff to flip through. I even miss their house magazine

Chamomile & poppy are doing particularly well & after starting off dead a year ago, it’s filled with worms and much looser soil already. Over winter I’ll chop it and let it break down in place as next year’s top soil. Radish, dandelion and sunflower are good for hard soil too

We've gone from lifeless contractor fill to a profusion of goldenrod, oxeye daisies, black-eyed susans, yarrow, clovers and fun bonuses like wild strawberries. Blackberries galore too but they have to be restricted to wilder areas.

nostr:npub1nlx923vwglgxt4et547y3pj5nx2vl47vmrlcrf6mywhqweyz66zsg6sd2d A challenge with mastodon right now is that there’s no full-text search (except in a couple of instances) so people won’t find their way to you or your posts without the aid of hashtags — which sometimes work like magic. A few key words in your post stand out as possible hashtags. You might also get results by searching for (e.g.) #architect & #architecture & #design & #development and then following any hashtags that turn out to be useful, as well as individual accounts
