Ohhh that's why it's not working for me. Thanks
Itβs not hard. Here are some directions if you have your own website:
NIP-05 verification for free with your own domain (Damus):
Convert your public key to hex on https://damus.io/key
In your files, you should have a folder called:
/.well-known
Create a file and name it:
nostr.json
In the file, type:
{
"names":
{
"your_username":"your_public_key"
}
}
Then go to a file called:
.htaccess
and put this at the top:
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Headers "*"
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Methods "GET"
In your Damus profile settings, there is a section called NIP-05 Indentifier. Type:
your_username@your_domain.extension (ex. btcapsule@btcapsule.com).
Thatβs it! Now you will have a nice checkmark next to your name.
Why it actually need to convert to hex key? Is it "must do" ?
