My argument would be be that you reduce the chance of bugs, as you aren’t importing a lot of unused code.

I wouldn’t deploy something big that I thought could be risky, but we minimize risk as much as possible with small pull requests, automated tests, metrics, and we can rollback to the previous state quickly.
