I learned today that a not insignificant number of people believe the movie Fly Me to the Moon was based on a true story. 🤦♂️

My argument would be be that you reduce the chance of bugs, as you aren’t importing a lot of unused code.
That’s just my 2 pence, though.

… Unless what you really mean is that both objects are the same type but you just want to copy (i.e., clone) one, while changing a single property?
I'm not sure how I feel about this.
I mean, it's great for the Pixelmator Team; I just hope Apple doesn't enshittify it.

What if 9 ladies dancing just happening to show up on your front lawn this morning?
I managed to avoid Kubernetes for 10 years, but it’s finally caught up to me, so I hope I’m a Kubernetes god after going through all this required (by job) Kubernetes training.
When do I start honking like a duck?

Today, I was cut in layoffs. I’m so gutted because I loved this company, & my team was the best; I’ll miss my team most.
Now, as I look ahead, I’m searching for a staff/principal role where I can help other developers level-up through mentoring, tooling/infra, architecture, & improving DX. I’d love to work with a company contributing to open source & even to the #PHP programming language itself.
If you’d like to work with me, you can find my contact info on my website: https://ben.ramsey.dev
They should just stop bleeping the language in #StarTrekLowerDecks and rate it TV-MA.
This is starting in 10 minutes! #PHP https://phparch.social/@editor/111116108085079655

I wouldn’t deploy something big that I thought could be risky, but we minimize risk as much as possible with small pull requests, automated tests, metrics, and we can rollback to the previous state quickly. I do not fear deploying at 5:30pm on Friday. 🙂

Sausages are already spiced, and they’re savory. Pumpkin spice is more on the savory side, so I think it could work, if you don’t go overboard with it.
nostr:npub1v5aezjamjrpskyugk4f6tcwpfu2le7lxl3008s0pygqg9hns8k9s8ncd7v It turns out there’s a bit difference between the browser’s built-in text-to-speech (i.e., in Safari at Edit > Speech > Start Speaking) and VoiceOver. With VoiceOver, the aria-label works, but the browser text-to-speech doesn’t appear to use the aria indicators. Thanks!
