Hash rate follows a mixed motive game, in theoretical game theory. Having stake in the security of the network and making it decentralized is only useful if they see Bitcoin as a monetary network worth participating in. I suspect that many more nations will start engaging in mining as Bitcoin’s network effect, and benefits at the nation state level, is realized.
Living on a Bitcoin standard has its perks and downsides in a world priced in fiat 😂
