Predestination is a good one.

Watch the gorge on Apple TV - came out yesterday. Fun sci-fi action romance for Valentine’s Day 🥰

Watching it now. It is fun indeed.

Strange Days.

El Topo

If you've never watched The Prestige, it's one of my favs. Nolan at his prime.

Great movie.

I fucking LOVE The Prestige

yesssss!!

also bale is 👌

Substance is a while ride

Wild ride even

The Prestige was fun. It was the only movie I watched twice and had a different experience both times.

Legally Blonde

Mean girls

Gilmore Girls was scarier and more mind bending imho

The Fountain

Such a cool movie

I think I watched it like three times the week after I discovered it

Departed was good.

Primer

Funny Games

Homestead on Angel network

Tenet !

I suppose that you saw it, but just in case, 2001.

Donnie darko

Seven or Less Than Zero

Have you guys seen annihilation yet. I think you’d dig it.

I like Cube.

The talking bear gets me every time. Very creepy

Yessss mind-bending as fucking fuck…

Have you seen devs on fx? Same director.

Watched it twice, very good

Yes! This is one of my favorites.

Always find this one almost too odd. I’ve given it several tries.

I think this is a must watch.

I love this one, but it is dark!

I watched this a week ago. I have no idea what its about.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1371111/

Such a good movie!

It was mind bending alright.

It’s several stories that all have the same plot in a metaphorical way , it’s showing that the same types of things repeat themselves.

At least that’s what I think it was.

I actually went and bought the book version a few months ago to see if I got it right.

One thing is certain:

Tom Hanks sort of looks like Brent Hinds from Mastodon with that face tattoo.

And THAT is metal.

The Man From Earth

Primer

Inception

Donnie Darko

Jacobs Ladder?

Decided to watch The Man From Earth 🫡

Enjoy!

Primer!

This is mind bending in the best possible way; escape from communist Eastern Europe in a homemade hot air balloon...😳🔥💖

Since there is already a lot of good stuff covered, I’ll recommend The Platform. Not so much a “mind fuck” but really good and deep.

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt8228288/

+1

Well shit. This isn’t the endorsement I wanted 😂😂

Backdoor Sluts 9

You may like to watch the night of the game. It seems fun to me, for a couple program! 🫡🫀

Tron legacy Def a fav. And beautiful too

The Prestige was very good. Hugo not a mind bender but excellent also.

Being John Malkovich

Synecdoche New York

Mr. Nobody

Yes to the first two. I came here to see if there were any other Kaufman fans. Have you seen Adaptation?

I love Adaptation because I hated the book

Nemo Nobody

Memento 2020

Just saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - surprising cast and a bit mind warping

Adaptation

The Spanish Prisoner

Being John Malkovich

Harrison Bergeron

The Parallax View

Capricorn One

Moonwalkers

Cube

Poor Things

Yea, that was a weird one.

Exit Through The Giftshop

Moon

Oldboy, the original

The city of lost children

Severance - Series

I had a seizure when watching that. I shit you not.

Severance is excellent. Just watched the latest episode tonight, hence our craving for more mind-bending content

Ben Kingsley…. And fantastic

Dangerous Liaisons, Malkovich, Close version. Just do it. Ignore Keanu acting stupid.

Have you seen My Dinner with Andre and/or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Ever seen!? How about from 2024; The Substance, Strange Darling and Nosferatu (of course).

Equilibrium

Great movie

Vote for Eternal Mind… or Memento

Jacob’s Ladder along with Memento (JL may not hold up). Memento does

I hope Jacob’s Ladder holds up … that’s classic

Memento one of the few films I've watched multiple times

Just watched "The Substance". I would definitely describe it was wild.

Good recommendation

Jacobs’s Ladder

Just watched Caddo Lake it’s pretty good

Tenet

Tenet is not for everyone but I had to watch it twice to get it, really good recommendation

Revolver

Planet of the Apes staring Charlton Heston or Fight Club

Charlton Heston was a fucking Chad

It’s a horror film but “Event Horizon” was pretty trippy.

Waking Life

"Nefarious" disturbing psychological thriller.

hmmm

to be different

Pi (1998)

Lots of mind bending (and drilling)

I remember when it came out I went every afternoon after work for like two weeks

Identity is a good one: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0309698/

Heat

there a lot of good ones already in the replies but i will suggest this :

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt2397535/

Parasite was really good.

Ex Machina

Plus not mind bending yet a lot of fun (we watched it twice) ... The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Enjoy! 🧡✨

i really like birdman.

Dark Matter on Apple TV. Great show.

The Matrix if you still haven't seen it

Hudson Hawk (goofy)

Primer (serious)

Hudson is the best B movie ever

Primer. What it lacks in budget, it more than makes up for in concept. This was (and is still) one of the hardest movies for me to figure out

David Lynch doesn’t spoon feed you. Ripe for discussion/interpretation.

Dark (Netflix)

Donnie Darko

Dark by Ze Germans ist sehr gut.

Memento

Go is another great movie

Not a movie - but peaky blinders is number 1 tv series

Lovecraft Country fits the bill but is a tv series, seen it?

'Little Otik' ranks high

Okay, not “mind-bending” but if you haven’t watched “Major Payne” together then that is my recommendation.

I’m currently rewatching The Usual Suspects 😁

If you like sci-fi:

Arrival, Annihilation, Interstellar, Cloud Atlas.

Other good ones: Inception, Shutter Island, Everything Everywhere All At Once.

Everything Unwatchable All at Once..... Is not a good movie

Looking for intense K-dramas that dive deep into revenge, morality, and the dark side of society? The 'Revenge Trilogy'—Resurrection (2005), The Devil (2007) & Shark (2013)—delivers gripping storytelling, psychological depth, and sharp social critique. Must-watch! #KDrama #Thriller"

Park Chan-wook’s Vengeance Trilogy—Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002), Oldboy (2003) & Lady Vengeance (2005)—delivers intense storytelling, social critique & unforgettable twists. A must-watch! #KoreanCinema #Thriller"

Not a movie but this German series is epic. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_(TV_series)

“Predestination” 🤯

Many good ones but Minority Report is definitely worth a watch

Severance might fit

Perfect Days 👌

Life in the fat lane.

So many options to choose from, but let’s go for Event Horizon.

Under the Skin - Scarlett Johansson

If you want to be in a constant state of suspense while watching a movie then try The Fall...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fall_(2022_film)

Me and my wife got so sweaty just by watching this... 😅

the expanse .. truly excellent

Shutter Island or Inception.

Bonus: Both starring Leo 👌

Mind-bending may be a stretch, but "Resolution" & "The Endless" are a shared-universe pair of films with the same unique supernatural antagonist in the background. It gets the audience thinking & leaves them with questions in a IMO very satisfying way

Have you tried watching films by Adam Curtis?

https://youtu.be/jxBbw13Y3Gc

MOMENTO (2000)

Typo it's MEMENTO

The Substance.

Trippy, shocking, and a tribute 90's gore.

Man from earth, tenet, memento

Not a movie but an excellent tv series.

Mr. Robot.

Very relatable to Bitcoin ethos.

Not the most... but The Game was pretty good.

The interview of Itzhak Bentov & his widow’s lecture presentation of his ideas at length in “From Atom to Cosmos”.

https://youtu.be/KMbeK_6ATxQ

Bentov died “mysteriously” just 2 years after writing his book “Stalking the Wild Pendulum: On the Mechanics of Consciousness”. His biomedical models were directly referenced in a June 1983 letter on the then classified research called “remote viewing”.

Bentov developed the first missile for the Israelis in their War for Independence in the 1940s, so we know he was on Mossad’s radar. We know he was on the CIA’s radar.

Is it any surprise that he “died mysteriously” just a couple years after writing a book that ripped the face off the universe?

The most mind bending videos aren’t produced by the same Hollyweird that gave us #metoo and Diddy parties.

The most mind bending videos take our distorted models of the universe and offer us less distorted models of the universe. This is true because when a person realizes certain truths, it forces them to reassess their prior assumptions and see just how many dominoes topple as a result of this new information.

Primer

Mulholland Drive

Brazil

Tenet was probably the most recent mind fuck I’ve watched.

American Beauty

Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind

Ok, so there is this movie you prolly never heard of called The Matrix. Now in it, Keanu Reaves plays this…

Awake is a must watch

After a car accident takes the life of a family member, a police detective lives two alternating parallel lives, one with his wife and one with his son. Is one of his "realities" merely a dream?

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1839683/

Vertigo by Alfred Hitchcock, is somewhat unsettling.

Pink Flamingos
