I wouldnāt be surprised. I briefly looked for other accounts of the community you are describing but couldnāt find anything. I was stationed at Fort Lewis 2012 - 2015. Saw a fair amount of people on the west coast who seem to choose to be transient/homeless. Wondering if the VA has any type of outreach to these people. Iām guessing they not, but donāt know.
