I'm generally suspicious of any green solution, but I'm interested in agave fiber-based straws and cutlery. When some wild and oppressive carbon scheme is thrust on me, I'm going to do my part by drinking copious amounts of tequila.
There's a snap for Red Alert which works great, nothing for the original C&C though.
I don't exactly know what I'm doing, but I can't for the life of me get Command and Conquer 95 running on Linux decently, even after messing around with Lutris and various WINE settings. Anyone have any luck with this?
"How are things going with the exchanges?"
Kids needed to burn off some energy, went out for a walk. This section always reminds me of the Channelwood Age from Myst.
For shits and giggles I started watching Highlander. I'm real caught on how fucking stupid the Kurgan's sword is, it would break if you dropped it on the ground. I was able to suspend disbelief on everything else though.
Sega wouldn't make a new Jet Set Radio game, so indie devs took it upon themselves to make Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. Nintendo wouldn't make a new Star Fox game so indie devs are making Ex-Zodiac. Any other IPs out there that need a spiritual sequel?
I love the low-poly aesthetic. The original Star Fox is one of my favorite games, even if it runs at like 10 fps. Excited to try this out https://t.co/X7PaZtUloj
Backups are only backups if they are in a safe and secure location...for example, leaving an external hard drive in a place where your kids will spill their bubble solution all over it is not a good use of backups
I love a good podcast...but man do I get hung up on the audio. Someone could have the answer to all life's mysteries and if the audio was shit I'd skip it move onto the next. Made it halfway through an episode where the volume got quieter and quieter. Maddening
I take great joy in watching those who were so eager to force vaccines on everyone, threatening their livelihoods if they didnt take the shot, freak the fuck out about Roe. ![]()
CNN is on in the hotel lobby. So much coping and seething. Maybe a national divorce would be more fruitful.
To my daughter, who has never seen graffiti:
"Do we color on the walls? No. But this is Boston, people just do what they want here, rules don't matter, they don't follow them."
A look of confusion and horror followed.
The plot of M:I-2...but with covid...
My career has taken turns, but I'm ready for the next phase...going to become a black market Juul dealer
You could produce a 50 page study on how retrobriting is safe and long-lasting for old plastics, and I would still be extremely nervous about retrobriting my consoles. They will die with all that yellow, bromine goodness.
I primarily use Brave, and Mozilla seemingly does something to piss me off every other week, but I want to play around with a hardened version of Firefox. A lot of guides out there on how to harden it, any recommendations?
The problem with 2022 is that there's no norm that shouldn't be broken. Everything needs to be broken just for the sake of breaking it...
Just watched the new Bond movie, pretty annoyed with it.
Alright, no more LARPing, dropping Windows. For as long as I can remember, I've had Windows as a daily driver and Linux on another machine to play with. Going all in
